Data controller

Hoogwaardige Dakwerken, Daalwijkdreef 47, 1103 AD Amsterdam, is the controller for any personal data that reaches us through this website. You can contact us about privacy by email (info@hoogwaardigedakwerken.nl) or by post.

What we receive

If you send the quote form, we receive your name, email address, phone number and the service you pick, plus anything you choose to add, such as an address or a description of the roof. We can also see which page you used and which language it was in.

Why we use it

Purely to handle your request. That means contacting you, booking a visit, writing a quote and, if you give us the job, doing the work and invoicing it. You won't get a newsletter from us, and we don't sell your details to anyone.

Legal basis

When you ask for a quote, we process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, known in the Netherlands as the AVG). To carry out and administer a job, we rely on that contract and on our legal obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and (c)).

Who else handles it

The form runs through Web3Forms, which passes your message on to our inbox. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Both use the data only to provide their service. We pass nothing to anyone else unless the law obliges us to.

How long we keep it

If a request doesn't turn into a job, we delete the data within two years of our last contact. Data tied to a job and its invoice is kept for seven years, because Dutch tax rules require it.

Cookies and statistics

We don't set tracking or advertising cookies and we don't run analytics software that follows what you do online.

Your rights under the GDPR

You're entitled to see your data, have it corrected or have it erased. You can also object to the processing or ask us to restrict it. Send your request to us and you'll get an answer within a month.

Making a complaint

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, please raise it with us first. You can always complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl as well.
